Leeway is about easing the tension from traditional work environments and offering freedom of movement within its small footprint. As a result, It encourages people to initiate more human-to-human communications and provides a social atmosphere.
Geiger is a furniture brand within the MillerKnoll group focusing on high-end and executive seating. They have a great heritage of working with wood, so I decided to create a substantial piece of wood that became the identity of this chair. I made a crescent backrest that is used across the entire collection. Furthermore, this crescent backrest lets the chairs be lifted off the ground for cleaning. We also ended up producing a stacking version with the seat and the backrest in PU for more day-to-day uses in diverse contexts.
