Villetta is a small armchair that provides rather unexpected richness and feel. Every detail is slightly rounded as if the chair has matured over time. It is a chair tinted with a slight nostalgia rooted in De Padova’s history, which made me question what a De Padova-like chair could look like today. The carved-out detail on the backrest gives this chair comfort, lightness, and character. In fact the entire design of the chair started from this backrest.
In 2024, Villetta received the “Top Dining Chiar’ title in Monocle Design Award.
