This project initially began by ambitiously talking with the CEO of the brand about creating a ten-stacking chair for its 10th anniversary for the brand. The project was postponed due to the pandemic, and we finally completed the design some years after its 10th anniversary. Our dream of ten stacking ended in 5, and we took twice as long as our original plan… However, we were all happy to complete a great chair with many memories. This chair provides extra comfort for a simple chair by attaching the backrest directly to the rear legs rather than building it in the traditional sandwich technique. I never liked the sandwich technique as the rear legs always touched my back, and I never felt comfortable. I also purposefully made the legs quite large to give a steady look and feel for a little chair.
